In S. Dakota, 30 percent lacked health insurance

Almost 30 percent of South Dakotans younger than 65 have gone without any kind of health insurance in the past two years, a national study reports. The study, from nonprofit consumer health care advocacy organization Families USA, found that 195,000 South Dakotans had been uninsured for at least a month between April 2006 and April 2007.
