Lawmaker, Advocates, Businesses Debate Proposed Rules Under New Massachusetts Insurance Law
A Massachusetts lawmaker, some advocates and businesses are discussing recently drafted rules on the state's new health insurance law, the Boston Globe reports (Krasner, Boston Globe, 8/9). The law, enacted in April after the Massachusetts Legislature overrode vetoes by Gov. Mitt Romney (R), requires all state residents to purchase health insurance by July 1, 2007. [click link for full
